IED Group is seeking a full-time, on-site Solder Technician to perform precision hand soldering, desoldering, and rework of both through-hole (PTH) and surface-mount (SMT) components — including fine-pitch, BGA, and small-component rework — on high-reliability PCBAs to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards, inspecting solder joints under magnification for workmanship and defects, assembling, modifying, and repairing assemblies from schematics, drawings, and BÓM.

A role requiring 3–5 years of hands-on SMT/PTH soldering experience, working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards, the ability to read schematics and assembly drawings, strong fine-motor skill and sustained focus under magnification, keen attention to detail, a high school diploma or equivalent, and eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR.
